After the summer break and a great pre-season then Sheffield 1st XV return home for their first game at Abbeydale for the new season 2014-15.
With the game on the main pitch then spectators and players alike will have a treat this weekend with the main bar at abbeydale grand re-opening after it's redesign and re-fit.

All spectators are very welcome down for a big game and a big day at the home of Sheffield Rugby, and the citys oldest and (by far) biggest rugby club.

Newly promoted Ilkely have had a good start to the season also, and coming off the back of a win last weekend as Sheffield boys did, then a great season opener is anticipated.

Kick-off at 3pm.
