Sheffield RUFC is the cities oldest (115 yrs)& largest (20 teams) club that stands in the highest RFU league level of all the Sheffield rugby union clubs (National League 2, RFU level 4). The club profile covers all ages from the very earliest beginners - Ruggereds - on to entry level teams at U8's and every age upwards U8's to U19's Senior Colts. Additionally this includes a rapidly expanding girls age grade rugby side, to complement the Sheffield Ladies long standing 20 years at the club who are also National League level Championship North.
At mens senior level SRUFC field 4 regular mens teams, 7s team, and an occasional vets side. The 1st XV has gained 2 promotions in 3 seasons to now place in National league 2, and the second team is the highest placed & most successful placed second team in the city playing at Yorkshire premier league level , top county level.

SRUFC is the cities only truly inclusive club, covering all levels. It is the premium club developing ground for all standards and ages of players, (male or female, yound or old), and this opportunity is a 'must' for anyone within the city looking for a budding coaching career.
