Due to the unavailability of Tom Womack, Charlie Mason makes his debut for the club in the back row. Mason has a rich family history of involvement in Sheffield RUFC, uncle Paul Bradwell is a current Vice President and former player, whilst Charlie's brother Tom has played at prop for the 1st XV.

In the backs, Will Hodgson returns from injury to replace the unavailable Quentin Laulu Togaga'e.

On the bench, Tommy Marples continues his retirement with his third appearance of the year, whilst Canadian import Jason Hignell is rewarded for a sterling 2nd XV performance last week with a spot on the bench. The trio is completed by the returning Rob Conville, who makes his first appearance since he made a cameo against Derby earlier in the year.
