The National Association of Medical Schools (NAMS) Rugby competition a competition for all of the Rugby Clubs of the Medical Schools in England and Wales. This season Sheffield Medicals have reached the final of the cup competition for the first time in the history of the club.
This years NAMS Finals Day is taking place at English Championship side Moseley RFC in Birmingham, on March 15th 2014. There will be two games occurring;
Plate Final - 14.00: Leeds Medics and Dentists RUFC vs Peninsula Medics RFC
Cup Final - 16.30: Southampton University Hospitals RFC vs Sheffield Medics RFC
This promises to be a fantastic day of Medical Schools rugby, with a fantastic standard on show. Admission is £2 for students and concessions, and £3 for non-students. There is parking available at the ground, and there will be a bar open all day with beers available at £3, hot food available all day, as well as all 3 6 Nations Games being aired live in the Clubhouse. SMRUFC will be organising return transport departing from Sheffield - details will be released shortly.
