Fantastic Pre-Season Friendly by S&S Men's 2s
Tuesday evening saw a great friendly take place between the Shefford and Sandy Men's 2s and a mixed team featuring several national league players.
The full team line-up for the 2s was only a couple of players away from the team which is expected to challenge for promotion from division 7 in the coming season. On this showing, with some more hard work, this is a realistic aim.
With Ashdown scoring a first and then controversial second, a couple of new faces making their club début things are looking good for the opening weeks of the campaign.
The final score was a disputed 2-1 to the S&S team.
