Just like the quarter final against Ash RFC, selection was open to all club members with training attendance being the priority. With eight regular 1st XV players out injured it was time for the development XV to step up to the mark and that they did.

A total of 8 Development XV players made the squad and showed that they weren't there just to make up numbers.

Sheppey got off to a flaying start with a try in the first couple of minutes, this was the story of of the game, a game which Sheppey dominated in all aspects. All credit to Dartford Valley who never gave up and despite the heavy scoreline stuck together as a team, right through till the final whistle.
