You may well have noticed the Kent One league table now shows that our 1st XV have lost 3 games and wondering why ??, this is due to the KRFU decision to void the abandoned fixture against Lordswood earlier in the season due to home crowd problems. This has therefore reflected in the table as a defeat and no points gained, but what the table does not show is the 20 point penalty that Lordswood were awarded 10 this season and 10 to be carried over next, Sheppey received no penalty.
Although now this makes top spot very unlikely a second spot is still very achievable, and if so we would then have a play off with second place of Sussex One for promotion to the London Leagues.
