Sheppey bring back the vase from Spitfire 15s

Sheppey 1st XV travelled down the M20 to play in the Spitfire 15s Tournament in Folkestone.

After 4 defeats in the group stages, Sheppey were placed into the Vase final.

Their opponents were Olney RFC, a touring side from Milton Keynes. Both teams were lacking players so it was agreed that a coin toss would settle it. Sheppey won the coin toss and the £25 winnings were donated to charity.

Although it was a dissapointing day for shepopey it was good to see debuts for youngsters Joe Walshaw and Declan Hayes
