Latest News on Shepshed Town Cricket Club and Shepshed Messegers

Following their AGM, Shepshed Town Cricket Club and Shepshed Messengers Cricket Club have confirmed they are to merge for the forthcoming 2016 cricket season. The newly formed club will be known as Shepshed Cricket Club and will be led by Chairman Steve Chantrill assisted by Vice-Chariman Ken Large and Duncan Bottrill.

This move will see 4 teams play Senior cricket in Shepshed along with strong youth teams at Under 15, Under 13, Under 11, Incrediball and Kwik Cricket from its grounds in Morley Lane and Pudding Bag Lane, Shepshed.

Both clubs would like to thank their previous sponsors for their support and are looking forward to continued success both on and off the field.

The club would welcome players old and new of all ages from 6 upwards to join for the winter indoor nets in early 2016. If you are interested in joining the club, please contact us at shepshedcc@btinternet.com or on 07885 738395.
