Dynamo Manager John Ramshaw today confirmed that local goalscoring legend Nicky Kennerdale will be joining the club in a Player/Coach role for the coming season.

Ramshaw, who as manager of Hucknall Town paid a then club record fee for Kennerdale, is delighted at the news. "Nicky and I go back a long way", said Ramshaw. "When I was manager of Hucknall Town I paid Northwich Victoria a club record transfer fee (£2500) to secure his services."
Kennerdale, 34, has extensive professional experience with Doncaster Rovers, Malmo (Sweden) and Northwich Victoria (when they were a full time Conference National club). More locally he has played for Eastwood Town, Hucknall Town, Ilkeston Town and has previously also played for Shepshed (10 appearances - 2 goals).
"Nicky completes my coaching staff for this year and will be a perfect compliment to myself and Chalkie (White)", said Ramshaw. "He is currently studying for his UEFA "B" Licence and in addition to his influence on the field will have an input into training and coaching sessions. I feel I have done some good business this week securing two experienced players who will also contribute to the management side of the club."
