Shepshed RFC launch Young Rugby Ambassador Programme

8 months ago By Nick Farmer

Help shape the game and be part of the YRA network

Shepshed RFC are welcoming all young people aged 14-24 to get involved in the RFU's Young Rugby Ambassador Programme for the 2017-18 season.

The YRA programme gives young people the opportunity to receive rewards and benefits for hours of volunteering they put into the community through rugby-related activities.

There is no need to be, or have been a player in the sport - just the enthusiasm to grow and develop skills through roles and activities that are on offer - these can range from leadership and coaching, to organising events, or even mentoring others.

If you would like some more information, Shepshed RFC will be hosting an introduction session on Sunday 28th May, 11.00-12.00 at the Shepshed Youth Centre - please feel free to come along, meet the team and find out how you can become a Young Rugby Ambassador.

If you are unavailable or would like more information about the session, please contact the committee here.
