Well it's been a busy old year 2017!! We've had some great performances on the pitch, further increased our membership, held quiz nights, had our first ever Christmas Party for the younger groups, and extended our F.A. Charter Standard status once more. And 2018 promises to be even busier. If you don't know already, in 2018 we celebrate our fortieth anniversary, and we have a number of events planned so keep an eye on the website for more details.

On January 16th we find out whether we've been successful in gaining a grant of £10,000 from Aviva to enable us to make much needed improvements to our facilities at Sea Mills Recreation Ground. Please keep everything crossed!

In line with our planned improvements, we're also in discussions with the local council regards extending the lease for Sea Mills, and we'll also be keeping a very close eye on developments at Cribbs due to the purchase by Red Maids. In addition we'd like to try and get parties around the table to have a think about revisiting the situation at Stoke Lodge, and whether it can be reopened for sport again.

Early in the New Year we'll also be making some exciting changes to the website, to make it more visually exciting, and with some new features. We'll be emailing members with more details soon.

So lots to do, and if you have a skill you think you could help us with, or have a fund-raising idea please get in touch.
