AFC Emley Match Preview

Shirebrook Town welcome AFC Emley to langwith road tomorrow looking to build on their back to back away wins against Eccleshill and Dronfield

Manager Karl Colley had the following to say about the game

Since the first game I took charge of Shirebrook there’s been a difference in mentality at this club where we are trying to get players wanting to play and play at the best of their abilities I’ve brought in some good players in the last few weeks and I’m always looking to add and strengthen to what we are building here. The last 2 games for me have shown me and the club I have a group of players with good character as we’ve been in front in one game and been pegged back and then Tuesday night at Dronfield going behind and then going on to control the game and come away with the win. The lads have set the standard now and that’s what I require from my players each game. There’s a good buzz in the changing room and we are looking to pick up as many points up to Christmas. This Saturday we host AFC Emley and it will be a tough game and I respect them on how they do things but the team will be out after them on Saturday afternoon and look to keep this run going. We have to keep our eye on Ashley Flynn but I believe we have enough at this club to cause problems for any club. I hope this Saturday we can get a few more supporters through the gates and see how things are looking up here at Shirebrook and come away with a positive result.
