Shirebrook Town FC would like to announce the appointment of Russ Eagles as 1st team manager with Wip (Steve Whitehead) returning to his former role as assistant.

Russ former joint manager at Pontefract Collieries joins the management team with immediate affect and has already started work on strengthening the squad ready for Derby Day on Saturday when AFC Mansfield come to the Langwith Road Ground.

The decision to bring Russ on board was through Wip himself since Chris Millington had to step down due to work commitments, Millo as stated that he will still help when he can and would still like to be part of the club.

Unfortunately we have lost Ginner our club physio as he took the decision to step down after our FA Vase win on Saturday. We would like to thank Ginner for his time at the club and wish him all the best in whatever his next venture will be.
