FC Bolsover Match Preview

Shirebrook are back in action tomorrow as they are the "away" team against FC Bolsover the sides have met twice this season with Shirebrook running out winners both times on the opening day of the season Shirebrook won 4-1 thanks to a Kieren Watson hat trick and a goal from Declan Brewin the sides also met in the first round of the Derbyshire cup with Shirebrook running out 2-1 winners thanks to a late double from Kieren Watson Shirebrook go into the game on the back of last weekends win against Rossington.

Shirebrook Manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

We are looking forward to another local derby. We have already met FC Bolsover twice so both teams have a good idea of each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They have undergone a few changes of late but overall they still have a pretty similar playing squad that like to get it down and play.
Last week we asked for a reaction and we got it, although after doing the hard work of going 4-1 up we dropped our level and aloud them back into the game. I was pleased to get the 3 points though and for 20 minutes in the 2nd half I thought we was outstanding. The task now is to hit those levels and stay around those levels more often! We have dropped 14 points against teams in the bottom half which paints a picture and we need to address that.
Overall we find ourselves in a good position and now need to build on that going forward. We had a fantastic crowd in the opener against FC Bolsover so hopefully more of the same even though it’s ‘away’.
Your support as always is much appreciated and will be vital on the next month with a fair few Home/local games.
