Grimsby Borough Match Preview

Shirebrook are back in League action this Saturday as Grimsby Borough visit Langwith Road Grimsby sit in 3rd place with 26 points from 12 games played the sides have already met once this season in the FA Vase and it was Shirebrook who ran out winners thanks to a Hat-trick from Kieran Watson however Grimsby have won every game since that game in early September so it will be a very different game Shirebrook will be looking to carry on the momentum they gained against FC Bolsover after the 2-1 win gave Shriebrook progression into round 2 of the Derbyshire Cup

Shirebrook Manager Rob Camm had the following to say about the game
We welcome in form Grimsby Borough to Langwith Road this Saturday. They at on a 10 game unbeaten run in the league so they'll be full of confidence coming here.
For us I feel like we put in a real battling performance on Tuesday night. If I'm honest I thought both teams played really well in an end to end game which must of been pleasing for the crowd. I felt like we came on strong towards the last 20 after they went in front. It was going to take a screamer to beat wazza on the night and that's what their goal was! But we regrouped and shown great character to come back and win.
Again for us it goes back to consistency now and after a poor performance against Selby we really need to put in another gritty and determined showing to get the points.
It was a great crowd for a Tuesday night and it's Non League day this Saturday so we hope to have another good crowd to push the lads every step.
