Shirebrook are back in action for the first time in 2018 when they visit FC Hallam the first meeting between the sides saw Shirebrook run out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Kieren Watson and Joe Naylor Hallam sit in 9th place with 36 points from 24 games plaed so far this season Shirebrook will be looking to continue the good run of form they showed in December that saw them pick up 7 points from the 3 games played.

Shirebrook Manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

We start 2018 with a really tough month of fixtures. None more so than Hallam Away.
They have a good home record and will have the backing of a good crowd. We met earlier in the season and there wasn’t much in it, both teams had chances and on the night and it was us who took ours.
Both teams have strengthened since that time and I’m sure it will be a good battle. I believe they are a dangerous opponent for anyone in this league on their day and we are well aware of that.
We will be welcoming new signing Alex Varley to the fold who I believe can be a key player in the second half of the season.
