Hallam Match Preview

Shirebrook are back on the road tomorrow as they visit the worlds oldest football ground Sandygate to play Hallam FC Shirebrook will be looking to pick up where they left off last Saturday and pick up another 3 points after last Saturdays 3-1 win away at Ollerton Hallam sit 1 place and 1 point behind Shirebrook with 12 points from 6 games played so far Hallam also have a face that Shirebrook fans will know very well after the recent capture of Kieren Watson so the Shirebrook defense will have to be on top form to make sure Kieren has an off day.

Shirebrook manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

We have got pretty much a fully fit squad ready to go just 1 or 2 we need to manage but I’m sure they will be good to go. Going back to the Ollerton game last week I thought the lads answered the previous weeks defeat perfectly. They worked hard for each other won their battles and got what their hard work deserved from the game. I thought the back four of Burbs, Timmo Cheesey and Carts where excellent second half really managed the game well. Looking forward to tomorrow, I feel like we are in a great place now from where we were in pre season and games can’t come quick enough. Tomorrow will be tough.
Hallam have got a good management team in place and they’ve made a couple of cracking signings in the last few weeks which I believe will push them onto that next level. We had 2 good battles with them last year and I’m sure Saturday will be very much the same.
But I like where we are at and I believe we have the squad now to go there and get something out of it
