Chris Timmons and Ross Henshaw appointed captain and vice captain

Shirebrook Town can confirm Chris Timmons has agreed to join the Club and will be the Club Captain for the coming season and Ross Henshaw has accepted the role of Vice-Captain to Chris.

Manager Rob Camm had the following to say

We are Delighted to get both Timmo and Ross on board. Both lads bring a physical presence, experience at an higher level and We are confident they will be part of a solid foundation to build the team.

Chris had the following to say about his new role

I wanted to sign for Shirebrook after speaking with Cammy as he had the same feelings towards the football club as myself. We both grew up in the area & football has been a big part in the town & for me, I started with Shirebrook Rangers & having a professional & semi professional career. I'm in the same opinions as the management team & want to help Shirebrook get back on track attracting more local footballers & gain the support of the town once again. To attract the local community & engage in a family friendly club. I hope to pass on my knowledge & experience to the younger lads & help develop the club to gain future success.

Vice captain Henshaw had the following to say

I'm happy to be staying at the club. The plans look so promising and it's what the club needs. There is a lot of talent locally and I think we could be in for a great season if all goes to plan. I hope the town gets behind us as Shirebrook has always been a well supported club and it would be great to see the gates up

We can also confirm that last seasons Supporters Player of the Year Mark Robinson has agreed to stay on next season also talented young Goalkeeper Warren Squires has agreed to stay for next season.
