Saturday 4th October 2014 - Shirebrook Town v Eccleshill United 3:00pm ko

After the winning streak came to an end Tuesday evening when "the brook" were beaten by a good Hemsworth side (1 v 4), Shirebrook now need to bounce back tomorrow and take all 3 points against Eccleshill United at the Langwith Road Ground.
Not only will Shirebrook be wanting to get 3 points on the board they will also be wanting to get one back over Eccleshill from the 4 v 0 defeat they suffered at the start of the season.

Julian Watts Statement
Whilst Ady and myself didn't get carried away with the 3 victories neither will we be disheartened with the defeat Tuesday night against a good Hemsworth side, all the more in front of the Shirebrook faithful.
The wins against Louth and Selby whilst good points, the performances are still short of where we need to be and it is something we are working on. The squad does need strengthening but it is important that we keep the fantastic team spirit in the dressing room.
The best way to put things right is to bounce back with 3 points which is what we will be trying to do tomorrow. We welcome a strong Eccleshill side who we certainly owe after our away defeat earlier in the season. They are a good footballing side so it should be a great game to watch, even better if we cross the line first.

I look forward to seeing you all at Langwith Road tomorrow.
