Tuesday 25th November 2014 - Shirebrook Town v Yorkshire Amateur 7:45pm ko

With no game at the weekend (Saturday 22nd November 14) due to Bottesford Towns late postponement, Shirebrook will be looking to put the League Cup exit behind them with a win against Yorkshire Amateur tonight at the Langwith Road Ground.

Julian Watts Statement
It was disappointing when the match was postponed at the weekend as we are looking to gain some momentum in our league fixtures, luckily we haven't had to wait too long for the next fixture. I think the squad as a whole is improving and certainly the atmosphere in the changing room is excellent which is so important. A group of players that is together can make a big points difference through a season and I think we saw those qualities against Retford.

Tonights game gives us an opportunity to climb a couple of places, indeed one would be gained at the expense of our visitors so 3 points is a must. On the players front we are still always striving to improve the squad, I have been disappointed with a couple of possible transfers that haven't come off in the last month when the deal has all but been done but we have a couple of fresh faces in the squad tonight and as ever hopefully some more in the coming weeks.

I am looking forward to seeing down at Langwith Road tonight to cheer us over the line COYR
