Shirebrook travel to the Urban Sports Stadium tomorrow where they will face Pontefract Collieries. The Brooks last meeting with Pontefract was on the 12.08.2014 at the Langwith Road Ground the game finishing all even after 90 minutes.

After the disappointment of the week before we needed to bounce back and I thought we did exactly that in a very comfortable manner. The strong winds were difficult in the first half but we managed very well and I thought we dominated the 2nd half to bring home the 3 points. It was an interesting week leading up to the game as Joe McCormack took an offer to further his career at Loughborough Dynamo. We wish him all the best as he has been in fine form this season saving 4 penalties along the way. It was a mad scramble then to find his replacement and with the efforts of several of the Brook faithful we managed to get the signature of Dale Shepherd who had an excellent debut.

We face a strong Pontefract team at the weekend, who have been in excellent form of late. But, we are on our good run ourselves and we are well up for what could prove to be a crucial fixture as the run in starts to get very interesting. Three points is a must and we will be going all out for them for the travelling army. COYR
