Big game tomorrow at the Langwith Road Ground when the Brook take on 3rd placed AFC Emley
Julian Watts Statement
Well, Hall Road seems like a long time ago so it is good to get back to the nitty gritty again. A disappointing result for a team in our position and I read the comments on our website after the game. In my honest opinion I look back and think that in tricky conditions we kept a clean sheet, we pretty much dominated the middle of the park and 4 players involved have scored over 80 goals this season between them. I thought, if anything, we just lacked the composure needed not only when chances came our way but even when we got into good positions in the final third and that could have made all the difference, it was definitely not our day.
We move on, the task made a little harder due to results, but what a game to come back to. We all felt hard done by up at Emley with a performance that didn't reap the rewards it deserved, maybe the story of our season. The outcome is massive for both teams and we certainly owe them one, only Campo missing at the moment serving the second game of his suspension, a vital game and equally important that we all get behind the lads. Your support, as always, is appreciated so hoping to see the best twelfth man in this league cheer us over the line. COYR
