Saturday 18th April 2015 - Grimsby Borough v Shirebrook Town 3:00pm ko

The Brook travel to the Bradley Football Development Centre tomorrow where they will face Grimsby Borough.
Shirebrook will be looking for 3 points against bottom of the table Grimsby in order for them to finish as high as possible in the league after a 1-1 draw with 3rd placed AFC Emley last Saturday 11th April 15 at the Langwith Road Ground. Emley took the lead in the 65th minute when Max Leonards well struck shot flew past Sheppard and it wasn't until the 90th minute when Shirebrook equalised, Kieron Watson from the spot.

Julian Watts Statement
Well a draw would have been the worst possible for both Emley and ourselves last week but that is the way it finished. I thought first half we were poor and didn't get any kind of foothold in the game but improved second half. I thought on chances we probably deserved all three points but it took us a while to equalise after giving away a sloppy goal and time ran out.

We go to Grimsby with a slightly depleted squad which will test our depth but we have 9 points to play for and I want us to take all 9 as we look to finish strongly and already look to next season. We have a great squad which has excelled in the second half of the season, let's all stick together, keep up our momentum and move forward. COYR
