Our next pre season friendly is against Staveley Miners Welfare tomorrow night at The Langwith Road Ground as we improve the opposition that we face in the run up to the 8th August.

It will also be nice to see a few familiar faces in the Staveley squad and also have a catch up with my former chairman, good friend and Staveley manager Brett Marshall.

We are 2 games into to our pre season schedule and after two wins against teams that play at a lower standard, tomorrow's game will prove a good yard stick to see where we are in terms of fitness and squad depth.

We have 4 lads away on holiday for the game so it will give the other players a chance to stake a claim for a shirt for the 8th August.

The squad is building nicely and we are speaking to 2 more players this week that have experience in this league, the league above and fit in to our ethos.
