Toolstation NCEL Division One – Shirebrook Town v Teversal FC – Saturday 5th April 2014 – Kick-Off 3.00pm.

Shirebrook Town return to Langwith Road on Saturday for their final home game of the season when the visitors will be near-neighbours Teversal FC.

And Shirebrook managers Mark Camm and Danny Bacon will be looking to finish this season’s stint at Langwith Road on a high with a convincing local derby win against the Tevie Boys.

But, with local pride very much at stake, the visitors will be just as much up for it, and Camm and Bacon will know that their Shirebrook side have to be at their very best if they are to avoid any repeat of the disappointment after losing 2-0 in the other local derby at Clipstone last Saturday.

Teversal FC have taken 50 points from the 38 league games they’ve played so far and they currently occupy thirteenth place in the NCEL Division One table, nine places and nineteen points behind fourth-placed Shirebrook, but with a game in hand on their hosts.

When the two sides met in the reverse fixture at Carnarvon Street earlier this season, the result was a goalless draw from a game largely spoiled by the very windy conditions that Saturday in early November last year.

Kick-off at Langwith Road on Saturday is at 3 o’clock.

Shirebrook Town supporters should also note that they are cordially invited to attend the club’s 2013/14 Season Presentation Evening, which takes place after the game at the Staff Sports & Social Club, starting at 7 o’clock. Entry to the event is free and the football club has arranged for a buffet and entertainment to be provided.
