Yorkshire Amateur Match Preview

Shirebrook are back in action on Saturday when Yorkshire Amateur visit Langwith Road, Yorkshire Amateur sit in 4th place in Division 1 with 57 points from 27 games played so far this season, The first meeting between the sides saw Yorkshire Amateur run out 5-1 winners so Rob Camms men will be looking to get a much better result this weekend.

Shriebrook Manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

It's a huge game for us tomorrow. They sit 4th with an healthy points gap over us and are also the leagues top scoring team by a stretch Nobody has managed to stop them finding the net this season so we know what we are up against. The 5-1 loss at their place early in the season hurt so we will be looking to put that right. Wednesday was a solid performance from us after back to back losses. We highlighted keeping a clean sheet as a must before the game and other than an early strike on goal that jimmy dealt with well, we looked comfortably in control of that. The league is very tight and there’s not much room for any slip ups from us. Last weeks loss meant Glasshoughton and Campion closed the gap to a point so it was crucial we did the right things on Wednesday.
