Shoreham FC and Adur Athletic FC would like to announce one of the most exciting mergers to happen in local youth football for a long time. Shoreham FC youth and Adur Athletic youth will merge to make one youth club. This merger will mean that both clubs can move forward in the development of youth football that will cover boys, girls and ladies teams.

Only the youth section of Shoreham FC will be merged and have a new name “Shoreham & Adur Football Club”. It will consist 15 teams to start, with the plan to introduce 3 to 4 more teams over the next year.
The club will now be able to offer children multiple levels of experience by having multiple teams in different leagues across the region. The club will be able to cover all levels of playing ability allowing for boys and girls to continue their development from a 7 year old all the way up to adult county league football. When a young player reaches 16 years of age they will have the potential to move up to county league football and beyond.

The merger will come in to force on June 1st 2015 in readiness for this coming season. There will be a club inter tournament on 24th May to bring every one together as one youth club. There will also be a new youth club badge, please see above. This will be added to all youth team kits in readiness for the new season.
