Shoreham hit Crawley Down Gatwick for 5 but could of easily been 10...

Shoreham FC put on a performance worth 3 points. After 2 weeks of poor performances while full time manager Kane Louis is out of the country. Chairman Stuart Slaney took the reins and rallied the troops.
The whole team were buzzing and up for this game.

Even though 3 main key players were out Stuart Slaney changed the formation to allow the players to play football and to concentrate on the job at hand.
Mike Demario was made captain and did not disappoint. For the first time in many games Shoreham finished the match with out picking up any cards.
Shoreham started the match by camping themselves in the 18 yard box of CDG, this carried on for 15 minutes with the Musselmen missing chance after chance only to be undone by a sloppy lazy goal which allowed CDG to go 1 up against the run of play.

After more pressure from the home side Shoreham went in front with goals from Dejaun Best and inform striker Alex Laing. Going into the second half 2-1 up the next goal was crucial for both sides and Shoreham took the upper hand again from Alex Laing then 2 more from Ross Myers.
The whole team played as a true unit and played for each other. The final score was 5-1 but could have easily been 10 if the Musselmen took their chances.

Exceptional performances from Dejaun Best, George Rudwick (mom) and Simon Gravier.

Stuart Slaney stated that he could not of got this result without the support from Paul Craddock long time assistant coach and fellow club youth manager Gary Beal.

Next Saturday Shoreham play away to Hassocks and are fired up to continue their form.
