Pagham Lucky win

The Musselmen travelled to inform top of the table team Pagham.
Shoreham had 3 players making their debut after mid week signings. The new look Shoreham was indeed the strongest team this season. and it showed.
The Musselmen matched Pagham man for man in the first half coming close on a couple of occasions until Shoreham went 1-0 up through Kai Birchard.
Second half saw much of the same with Alex Laing causing Pagham all sorts of trouble, again Shoreham should have gone 2 up only for Pagham to equalise.
After poor referring throughout the 2nd half things never got better with a last man on goal foul was only given a yellow card. Then eventually after a second last man on goal foul Pagham were given a red card and went down to 10 men. Things were evened up when the referee presented Alex Laing a 2nd yellow for a nothing tackle. This sending off was a very weak and awful decision.
Once Alex had left the field of play, Pagham defence were no longer under pressure which allowed them to push up the field.
Pagham finally got the winner in the additional extra 8 minutes which still nobody knows where this time came from.
Final score 2-1 to Pagham. The final score did not reflect the game and the Musselmen should at least of come away with a point.
Given the squad Shoreham now have the coming matches will definitely see them rise up the table.
Squad: Taylor, Richardson, Gregory, Alan, Demario, Flemming, Rudwick, Birchard, Laing, McCrae, Eno, Peake, Myers
