What transpired over the first 45 minutes failed to follow any given script. Evo aged 10 years watching the first half as Wood failed to pass and looked at sixs and sevens. It was no surprise when Paulton took the lead and looked the better side throughout the first period.
Somehow, and god knows how, we went in 2-1 up at the break. The fact we were winning owes a lot to Kinger who made several good stops, Luke G's chasing down and Coatsey being Coatsey..
Even when we got the third after a great move involving Sticks and Singher and Jake's finish, Rovers still looked dangerous and it was only the perfect positioning of the lino that denied them a penalty.
