Will Morford

Will Morford has today accepted a role as player coach with National League South outfit Gloucester City.

Will, of course was a fan favourite with City and returns to them with immediate affect.

He was Assistant Manager to Alex Sykes last season and also Shortwood’s top scorer last season with 18 goals. Will was due to continue his role as assistant Manager to Paul Meredith.

Club President Richard Webb said. “ Will has got a new job with the FA on the Coaching side and a return to his former Club is a tribute to his fine season and his ability as a coach. Obviously everyone at the club wishes Will all the best with his new job and every success at City and he is assured of a warm welcome at Meadowbank.”

The club will make an announcement as to an appointment of Assistant Manager when they are in a position to do so.
