Shrewsbury were subject to another defeat in their campaign with skipper Simon Evitts putting this down to a very very slow start and a huge underperformance in the early stages of the game that saw Stourbridge go 27-0 up within thirty minutes.
This slow start not only gave the away team all the confidence they needed to see out the win but put the doubt in the minds of the Shrewsbury players for the first half.
Rob Sanky managed to cross the line in the first half which was converted by Harvey Mason to make it 7-27 at half time.
Shrewsbury managed to keep Stourbridge out for the second half but could not close the gap until the last play of the game that saw Adam Faulkner cross the line and when Harvey Mason added the extras the referee blew for full time.
