With so much going on at the club, the Committee needs all the financial help we can get as we move in to a new and potentially expensive season. Projects either currently underway or being considered by the Committee include:
· Incorporation of Sidcup RFC Limited – over £2,000 paid in legal fees to date.
· Playing standard floodlights on the 1st team pitch – substantially paid for by grant funding from the RFU but around £6,000 to paid by the club.
· Upgrade to floodlights on the 2nd team pitch – around £11,000 to be paid from club funds.
· Installation of a permanent ice bath in one of the communal shower blocks, estimated to cost around £1,500.
· Replacement/additional equipment in the gym.
This is just a few of the projects on the go; there are plenty of others, some nearing completion, some just ideas at present but all cost money.
