The clubhouse will be open on Saturday afternoon for those not travelling to Wembley for the Challenge Cup Final. The Hull FC v Warrington game will be screened and both John Smiths and Fosters Lager will be available for just £2 a pint while stocks last!! Come early to avoid disappointment as rumour has it that Gauky is camping in the car park on Friday night to maximise the discount.

Hope to see a good crowd in the club.

The following day, Sunday 28 August will see our old friends Belt of the Celts performing in the clubhouse. Entry is FREE and the lads will be on at approximately 3.30 pm. If you are on the way back from Wembley, having a few in town later to make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend, or ready for a song and dance, try and call in for a few.

Finally, thanks to Chris Davidson for arranging and all the very many coaches, parents, juniors and supporters for putting so much effort into the club clean up last weekend. I'm sure you'll see what a difference their efforts have made the next time you are down at Chevinedge. The posts have been painted, the decking around the cabin repaired, the car park has been tidied, as has the seating area in the garden, the area around the edge of the field has been cleared of weeds and the railings and fencing have been painted and stained. There are too many individuals to thank on here but we are very grateful for the support.
