Siddal's junior section will be the focus of everyone's attention at the club's on Sunday, as four of our sides take to the field in the latter stages of the Yorkshire Cup.
Under 13's - are travelling to Humberside to take on Skirlaugh in a quarter final tie with an 11.30 am kick off. The players performed so well in beating Hunslet Warriors away in the last round and are battle hardened to facing tough encounters on away grounds. The players and coaching team of Craig Turner, Daz Phillips and Jay Walker will be bolstered by a full bus heading to support the team.
Under 15's - have a home quarter final tie against old rivals Batley Boys. Kick off at Chevinedge is at 12.00 pm. Ben Jackson and Paul Hirst will be hoping the lads can once again demonstrate the team spirit that they have displayed on many occasions over the past few seasons, as they look to come out on top against a team regularly in the hunt for silverware.
Under 16's - are also at home in quarter final action, against West Hull in a 10.30 am kick off. Ade Booth has taken the reins for the forthcoming season. Encounters with West Hull are always closely contested and the lads are determined to secure a place in the semi final hat.
Under 18's - Martin Scrimshaw has taken the coaching role for our reformed Under 18's. They are in semi final action away to Castleford Lock Lane with a 12.30 pm kick off.
Good luck to all our juniors in action on Sunday. If you're not travelling to Skirlaugh or Lock Lane, please make an effort to get down to the club for the Under 15's and Under 16's ties.
