This is a fundraising scheme with a difference. For once we are not asking our players or members for money. This time we are offering players, members and friends of the club an opportunity to SAVE money and generate funds for a replacement minibus in the process.

All proceeds raised from this initiative will be ring fenced and used solely for the provision and running costs of a replacement for our old minibus which was scrapped about a year ago.

Given we now run 16 teams regularly travelling as far as Hull York etc we desperately need a new bus but do not currently have the funds available to purchase one.

We are asking all our members and friends to do just two things neither of which will cost them any money and won't involve them committing to anything.

Firstly, use the First Utility link on the Siddal website (towards the top right of homepage) to access the First Utility online quotation pages. Enter a few quick details online to see if First Utility are cheaper than your existing supplier. There is a strong possibility they will be.

If members could also possibly share this information via email with colleagues at work it would also help us reach our target. Remember all we are asking is that they run an online quote to see if they could potentially save themselves a couple of hundred pounds a year plus.

If we do not reach our target of £5000 we will use whatever is raised to buy a cheaper bus. If we raise more then we will buy a more expensive bus.
