We will be launching a new Discount Membership card system that will be linked to drinks bought over the bar on Sunday 3 Feb 2019 at 2.00pm in the clubhouse.

Playing members and Family members will be automatically entitled to a Discount Membership card as part of their annual membership fee. Those details will be explained to players and families through the respective coaching teams.

The annual cost for Social members and Life members for a Discount Membership card will cost £20 and cards will be available in the club on Sunday 3 Feb. As soon as you have paid your £20 fee for the 12 months from February, you will receive your card. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash, or card. We will be asking members to provide contact details, such as name, address, mobile phone number and e-mail address, when we issue the Discount Membership card. The reason behind this is that we will be able to contact members using this information, to update you on events, fixtures and special offers as and when they arise. We’ll also be asking members if they can share with us their trade/profession, so that when we are seeking services for the club, members will be given the opportunity to put their names forward.

From 3 Feb onwards, the till will be operating a two tier pricing system. Members who have purchased their card will be provided with drinks at a lower price than those that are not supported by a card.

Please come along and support the launch of the new Discount Membership card system on 3 Feb, as the sooner you get your card, the sooner you will benefit from lower prices. We will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have on the day.

Change normally brings with it some teething problems and we recognise that some members may need help with understanding the new card system. For a good number of years now, we have operated a very loose membership process, particularly for Social Membership. While we have had success on the pitch, our financial position that is the foundation of everything we do, has been weaker than a club of our size should have been. We are starting to turn this around now, helped by supportive members and sponsors, the Kabin Crew and a small but hard working band of committee members. We ask you to continue to support us and get behind this new Discount Membership card system, to help us to continue investing in facilities and keep our club at the top of the amateur game.
