The YJL 2015 season is fast approaching and we need to submit the usual information to the League. More...

Firstly we are still looking for a volunteer to take on the role of Junior Secretary. This position has been open for over twelve months. We can split it in to two roles e.g. Fixture Secretary and Registrations Secretary if that helps. Can all coaches please speak to anybody they think might be suitable / interested. If nobody comes forward by the end of January then we will have to look at reorganising things to place more emphasis on teams to do much of the work themselves. This is something we'd rather not do because things don't tend to run as smoothly there is less flexibility and it means more work for Team Managers but if we can't find a volunteer we won't have a choice.

Can all teams please note the YJL appointed a Club Accreditation Co-Ordinator last season who has been working alongside clubs to make sure they have all the necessary coaching and other qualifications in place. There has been a long period of grace for clubs to make sure they have everything in place but I do not expect the YJL to be as accommodating this season. If teams are non-compliant in terms of not having the correct personnel they run the risk of having fixtures suspended. It's not an empty threat as teams had fixtures suspended last season. We do try and run courses at the club where possible but we can't always guarantee we can host so teams need to make the appropriate bookings through the RFL website. There will be TLM courses run at the club before the start of the season (details to follow) and a First Aid Course on Tuesday 17th February 2014 (book through the RL Learning website).

Can all teams U7s through to U16's please email me with the following information asap. I appreciate you will have supplied this information previously but I need to double check and see if anything has changed.
