Royal Glen shows the way
First hotel in new membership scheme
THE Royal Glen has become the first hotel to take advantage of a new hospitality membership scheme introduced this year by Sidmouth Cricket Club.
This sesaon the hotel's residents will be able to obtain membership tickets,entitling them to free seating on match days and the social facilities at the Fort Field.
The scheme is run in conjunction with advertising in the Sidmouth Cricket, Tennis, Croquet and Hockey Club annual fixture booklet. For £150 plus VAT hotels and guest houses get a full page advertisement in the booklet and transferable membership tickets for use by their residents.
Many visitors to the town make a point of spending one or several afternoons watching the action at the Fort Field and the club believes they will welcome the membership facility if it is available where they are staying.
