Clyst Hydon prevail

CLYST Hydon all but clinched the East Devon Indoor Cricket League title with a comfortable chase of the 104 set by closest rivals Sidmouth.

Anthony Dibble and Matt Cooke registered retirement scores for Sidmouth and there was 19 from Miles Dalton, but 103-2 was well within Clyst Hydon’s range and they passed it with two overs to spare with two wickets down. Ian Sutton and Clint Holmes did the bulk of the work with 25s, the latter finishing the game with a six.
