With some big New Years fixtures to call, The Postman (Jake Rimington) will take on reigning champion, Adam Boulter.

Sileby will know that nothing less than 3 points will do tomorrow as Friar Lane and Saffron square up. Caterpillar could be a potential thorn in pace-setters Melton's side and Blaby and Whetstone will have their work cut out as they look to stop the recent form of Birstall United.

Let's see what the lads made of it:

Adam Boulter

Barlestone St Giles 3 Vs 0 Dunton & Broughton

Barlestone are playing well and Dunton are playing poorly recently.

Houghton Rangers 3 Vs 2 Earl Shilton

Two form sides meeting here, think home advantage may be the key, could go either way.

Birstall United 2 Vs 1 Blaby and Whetstone Reserves

Birstall have been on a great run of late, very tough side to beat at home.

Caterpillar 1 Vs 3 Melton Mowbray

I don't think Cat will have enough to upset high flying Melton, I hope I'm wrong however.

Cottesmore 1 Vs 3 Rothley Imperial

Can just see Rothley edging this poor encounter, not one for the neutral.

Friar Lane 2 Vs 3 Saffron Dynamo

Game of the weekend, think Saffron will just have too much quality for the Lane.

GNG 4 Vs 1 Desford

Desford have been nothing short of terrible this season, I fancy GNG to kick them while they're down

St Andrews 4 Vs 0 Allexton & New Parks

St Andrews have improved of late and unfortunately New Parks are struggling to get a side together. I can see the Andrews picking up their third win of the season.

Jake Rimington

Barlestone St Giles 3 Vs 1 Dunton & Broughton

I think this game will be a tricky one for barlestone but will eventually run out 3-1 winners with a Damien Irons brace.

Houghton Rangers 0 Vs 1 Earl Shilton

Both teams have a hideous style of play and can envisage a clash similar to if Stoke City played the old crazy gang of Wimbledon... 1-0 to Shilton

Birstall United P Vs P Blaby and Whetstone Reserves

This game will be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch

Caterpillar 2 Vs 4 Melton Mowbray

Can see this being the tie of the day with Melton running out 4-2 winners.

Cottesmore 2 Vs 0 Rothley Imperial

Nobody likes travelling to Cottesmore, especially 3 days into the New Year. 2-0 the Rutlanders

Friar Lane 1 Vs 1 Saffron Dynamo

Could potentially be a banana skin for the money grabbers at Saffron, 1-1

GNG 5 Vs 1 Desford

Desford are a poor side blessed with no talent and a thuggish attitude. 5-1 to GNG.

St Andrews 3 Vs 1 Allexton & New Parks

The league's basement battle will see St. Andrews steal the points 3-1.

Again we must emphasise that all opinions expressed here are those of individuals and do not represent those of Sileby Town FC. We're sure that Desford have plenty of talent and some well mannered lads in their squad. Similarly we're sure not everyone in a Saffron shirt would snatch at a fiver.

Have a great New Year and here's to 3 points tomorrow!
