Skelmersdale United are proud to announce that young defender Cameron Glennon will remain at the club for the 2017-18 season.

Cameron Glennon or 'Glennon Cameron' as he is sometimes known joined the clubin December 2016 having played at Ashton United earlier in the season. He made his debut in January away to Warrington Town and went on to make a total of 11 appearances for the Blues, scoring one goal in the defeat to Sutton Coldfield in March.

He ended the season away from the club as part of the double winning Liverpool FC Foundation College U19s side who secured the Dallas Cup and National Football Youth League Cup alongside fellow United defender Tom Stephens.

Cameron becomes the fourth young player to commit his future to the club after Michael Vaughan-Muscat, Jack Watts and Seb Bradshaw. Alan Rogers expressed his joy at the extension - " Cam is another of our young players who has huge potential and will only improve and I am delighted he has committed for next season."
