Earlier this morning, Skelmersdale United's Uretek Stadium was subject to seizing by order of the current landlord with bailiffs and locksmiths attending the premises without warning to prevent entry.

There was no clear reason given for the process other than an apparent 'breach of contract' the substance of such breach is not currently clear and rumours of the lease being changed from the original date in November are unfounded.

Speaking with United chairman Paul Griffiths earlier on after the story had been mentioned by the local Champion News Group, he informed me that the club are currently seeking legal advice on the matter itself and the apparent contract breach.

Tomorrow's game AWAY to Tadcaster Albion will only be effected either by the weather or by the fact that the coach and any travellers parking at the ground will be done on the road with the car park not accessible.

Our next home game is planned for Tuesday night with neighbours Burscough due to visit in the Liverpool Senior Cup, any details on the validity of the game will be posted when available.
