remember folks there are still a few bricks in the wall to help rebuild. It doesnt matter if you have already purchased, every little helps

For those that have not seen it "THE WALL" and for those that are unsure of what it all means. Here goes
The club set a wage budget at the beginning of the season, which the club could fully fund, The former Chairman upped the budget without full consultation and the finances have not been forthcoming. Leaving the club now to find the extra finances. The players have taken a 40% cut in their wages to help the club out. "The WALL" has been suggested by Tommy Lawson and Brian Richardson to help fund the Players shortfall.
If we can get the WALL full of donations this will go a long way in bridging the financial gap. Each Square represents a Brick to help re-build the Club
I do know that there has been a donation of £150 to "The WALL" and also donations of £20. We know that not everybody has spare cash and money doesnt grow on trees but whatever anyone can afford will go to the Players Fund.
If anyone would like to donate then please see Tommy Brian, myself or any of the committee and your name will be included on "The WALL"
The club would like to thank all those that donated on saturday, as Griffo said, "It was a tremendous gesture"
The board of Directors have individually invested in this scheme and have between them put a considerable amount into the club coffers in the clubs time of need.
Just to point out, at this moment in time the club are not in danger of going out of business but if we had continued to pay the players their full wages we certainly would have. For this the Players of Skelmersdale United need to be congratulated on their sacrifices,

Another Fantastic effort this weekend, Tommy has asked me to thank each and every one of the supporters who have so far donated

Dont forget there is still a long way to go and without badgering on at your good selves more money is needed to fund the club till the end of the season,

See if you can get your work place to sponsor or even a few of your work mates, 4 or 5 workmates throw a couple of quid in, its one brick built
