Bradford Salem win the inaugural Skiptens with Wharfedale winning the plate competition.

10 teams, 10 players in each, playing 10 minutes each way!!!

The first ever Skiptens saw teams from the local area from National 1 to Yorkshire 4, with players ranging from dads and son to England age group and championship performers.

The games got underway at 10.30am with the final being played at 5pm, with intriguing match ups through out, North Ribb finished as Pool A winners with West Park Leeds runners up, Keighley and Bradford & Bingley making the plate semi's. Pool B was a much tighter affair with Wharfedale, Huddersfield YM and Bradford Salem all finishing on 9 points, eventually Wharfedale missed out on the cup semi on goal difference missing the last kick of the last pool game. Skipton Blues joined Wharfedale in the plate semi's.

The plate semi's saw Keighley and Wharfedale progress to the final, and in tight cup semi finals YM and Salem progressed,. Both finals lived up to expectation in front of a big crowd with Wharfedale and Salem winning their respective finals.

Skipton Rfc would like to thank all the clubs for entering, the referee's, the club volunteers and all the supporters that contributed to a successful day.

Skipton entered 2 teams and their player of the tournament was Calum Patrick.
