Sponsor the Club
Slade Point Rugby Club are currently seeking sponsors to support the club and also to upgrade of our facilities at Cathy Freeman Oval.
We in partnership with the Slade Point Athletics Club and Mackay and District Rugby Union are involved in a project to redevelop Cathy Freeman Oval. The whole project has an approximate value of 60k for Stage 1 plus an additional 15k for Stage 2. Stage 1 is to install lighting on Cathy Freeman oval up to 50lux (suitable for Rugby Training)and Stage 2 will upgrade the lighting to 100lux(playing standard) and also includes a new shed and changerooms.
Of the funds needed we have already secured almost 50k in grants
to complete Stage 1, in kind work and sponsorship however we need to raise at least another 23k to complete Stage 2. Work on Stage 1 is now complete.
For those who are able to assist there will be plenty of opportunities for publicity and the potential for signage on light poles or at the ground. Those businesses that kindly supported Stage 1 were, Porters, Northern Beaches Bowls Club, Bank of Qld and the Qld Government.

If your interested in providing club sponsorship, various levels of sponsorship packages are still available for the upcoming 2012 season. This can range from providing kit or eqipment for the teams to shirt or jersey sponsorship. Please contact our Club Co-ordinator Trent Attard trentattard@hotmail.com
