Reggies win Again!
SPRU Reserve Grade won a hard fought match against Brothers in the Grand Final at Quarry Hill on Saturday Sept 3rd.
The grand final was a spiteful match with both teams giving it there all.
Slade Point in the first 20 minutes stuck to their guns and played a tight game up front with all the ball running being directed at either side of the ruck.
As the game wore on the Slade Point forwards tired allowing Ben Barben of Brothers to score 2 length of the field tries to keep the scoring close.
With Brothers 3rd try and abit of a fight back on their hands, Josh Tucker was able to score for Sladies and crush Brothers hopes of a comeback.
