SLICC vs Seveno CC 2015 Match 2

SLICC's 7 match unbeaten run vs Seveno ended against in a disappointing loss. SLICC were inserted on a green wicket and soon were in trouble slipping to 53-4 with the top order failing against tight seam bowling. Nimmo (45) was the one source of solidity but he eventually fell, pushing toward the end of the innings as he ran out of partners. Fuller (13) and D Burton (14) offered some resistance helping SLICC to 146 all out, below par but defendable.

With no scoreboard pressure to speak of Seveno absorbed the early pressure (10-0 off 10 overs at one stage) but D Burton and W Packer failed to find the early break through. Mercurial first change Fuller (3-31), bowled some jaffers and reduced Seveno to 91-4 but in the end Savio took Seveno home comfortably by 5 wickets.
