Welcome back to those who were there last Sunday, nice healthy turnout for the first week back and quite a few newbies.

For those who did not know, we are back so turn up on Sunday.

Before that on Saturday we have the first home games of the season for the 1st and 2nd Teams and sponsors day.As most of you should be aware we have had a nice influx of sponsorship money into the club which will enable us to have the same kit from the 1st team to the U’6’s.With this in mind we have the U 15’s and the U 9’s doing displays between the two senior games.Anyone from those groups wishing to take part must have paid or started paying membership and their £20.00 kit contribution.I shall be at the club from 1.30 taking payments and distributing kit to people who have already paid.Anyone who has pre-ordered please bring a note of your sizes . Obviously this is a big day at the club and we would like to have as many people there as possible for our new sponsors and the press but need all children in the new kit or non Slough kit.

Kitchen- Last year a few marvellous volunteers did almost every Sunday in the kitchen with Gill. This year we really need to spread the load. All we ask is probably one Sunday from each parent ( men or ladies ) all season. It only entails doing tea and coffee during the morning with the odd bacon roll and pizza and sausages for the children after training. If we do not have anyone in the kitchen then the poor children will starve. We will put up a diary on the wall this week so please just add your name to a week.Obviously if you want to do it with someone else that is fine as well.Lets get this nailed early so we do not have to worry about it.

Tour – We are planning to take the M + J section on tour to Bournemouth next year.We used to do this every year and have visited Ireland,Scotland ,Wales on these trips and they were really good fun, sometimes more for the adults in the evening it has to be said.We will be doing varying fundraising activities throughout the season to help reduce the cost to everyone. Please support this and any other ideas you may have please speak with Michelle Harris.

So with our new kit and training stuff we should look good this year so lets turn that into points and come home with a few trophies this year.
